Baba was on the bed, gulping down water with his medicines. He had a few maids and butlers around, serving him, but seeing his state, it didn't look like he'd live long. Baba would turn 75 in December. One of his kidneys had given up last year, but he seemed fine for a while... But then his health deteriorated rapidly. His liver was failing, his lungs had fluid in them, his heart was weak...
I could only blame him because his lifestyle had been quite flashy throughout. Smoking, Drinking, barely any sleep. Now, I felt scared thinking that in my old age, I might end up bedridden like him, a burden to my family.
